A graduate in Social Communications Media, Rashmi started her career at Doordarshan and worked on the iconic program for children, ‘Magic Lamp’, akin to Sesame Street in the US.
Gaining valuable experience at Doordarshan in the early years, Rashmi assisted Shukla Das on the pioneering youth program, ‘Young World’ anchored by Ronnie Screwala and on internatinally awarded documentaries on Mother Teresa (Gift of Love) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZy1qDpGbdo

Moving on to advertising, as the Agency Producer at Contract Advertising, Bates Enterprise in Mumbai and Senior Producer at Yarra-VHQ, Filmworks in Dubai, Rashmi produced and directed memorable commercials and infomercials for multi-nationals.
As an independent Producer and Director, Rashmi has varied showreel that includes commercials, corporate and public service films, event coverage and TV programs for ARY, Zee TV and Dubai TV.
